The AC-44 features simple plug-and-play connectivity. This means no drivers are necessary to operate your AC-44. Connect your microphone via any available USB port on your computer and you'll be ready to go!

To Connect To A PC:

• Plug AC-44 into any available USB port
• The LED will illuminate when it receives power, indicating your microphone is ready to use
• To select your microphone as an input device:
  1. Start > Settings > System
  2. Click on the "Sound" tab
     • Under Input, click the drop down menu titled "Choose Your Input Device" and select MXL AC-44
• When using with video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom, make sure the "Microphone" setting has MXL AC-44 selected

To Connect to a Mac

• Plug AC-44 into any available USB port
• The LED will illuminate when it receives power, indicating your microphone is ready to use
• To select your microphone as an input device:
  1. Click the Apple icon in the top left of your screen
  2. Choose System Preferences and navigate to Sound
     • Click on Input
     • Click on MXL AC-44
  3. When using with video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom, make sure the "Microphone" setting has MXL AC-44 selected
